Good things are happening...

... to people I care about. I have to give a shout to two friends and one family member who lately have enjoyed great blessings in their lives...

• The first had her first child last week -- a beautiful and healthy baby boy. Chris was one of my best friends in high school. I'm so happy for you, Sparky!
• The second (Anamaria) hopped over to Vegas and got married on Saturday. No -- it wasn't spur of the moment. It was planned. ;-) Congratulations, Ana!
• The third is my own beloved brother- and sister-in-law, Ernie and Melanie, who told us last week that they are expecting their long-awaited first child!

I love it when great things happen! We're faced with enough challenge and difficulty in this life -- we need to take the time to celebrate the goodness that fills it every day as well...
