Seussical the Musical

Last night, D, S and I all went to the local junior high school's production of Seussical. What a great show! I had to drag the boys along with me (I literally had to carry S out and set him in the car), but by the time the show was over, they were laughing and talking about the show all the way home. I love the quality times with the boys like that. I love being with them when we're out doing something fun - distracted from the stresses, attitudes, etc. of daily life. ;) They're great boys and a lot of fun.

Two of the girls in my Sunday School class had two of the leading roles in the production. They were awesome! I was so impressed with their ability to become absorbed into their characters' roles - a really great job. I was very proud of them!

And, I have to say, I saw God in the demonstration of all these kids' talents on stage. Their singing and acting, their cheerfulness. I believe Heavenly Father gives many people talents intending for them to choose to use them to lift the hearts of His children. These kids did that for D, S and me last night. Thank you all! :)
