This is one of the best news stories I've seen in a while... A college softball player in her senior year at Western Oregon University injured her knee after hitting her first homerun ever. If her teammates helped her, it would disqualify the homerun, so two players on the opposing team (Central Washington University -- their archrivals) picked the girl up and carried her around the bases to seal their own loss, the loss of the conference championship and any chance of a spot in the playoffs.
