Happy Birthday, S!!!

As a father, I see God every day in my three sons, whom I love dearly. I want to take a minute now to write a note to/about my second son, S, who turns 8 today. How proud I am to call him my son... He's smart, creative, sensitive, handsome and thoughtful, among many other positive qualities.

Eight is an extra special birthday, as it is the age of accountability when we can take the important step of being baptised and receiving the Gift of the Holy Ghost. S has not only accepted this invitation, but he's very excited about it. I'm so please as his father to see him choose to take this meaningful step in his life and make this important covenant with his Heavenly Father. I've received so many blessings as a result of my baptism and of having the Holy Spirit as a constant companion in my life to comfort, strengthen and guide me; and I'm excited that he will now have these great blessings too.

I love you, S! Happy Birthday! I can't wait to go to LazerQuest with you tonight! :)
