Tomorrow morning, I'm flying to Missoula, Montana, for the annual BYU OB/HR major orientation rafting trip. It's a great way for new students to become more familiar with (1) the MBA program and OB/HR major and (2) each other and some alumni from the program (like me). From the MSFT standpoint, it's a great opportunity for one of us HR employees who came through BYU's program to attend and become familiar with the new incoming class of first-year students, who will be interviewing this fall for internships next summer. Strange to think we're already in recruiting mode again! Time flies when you're having fun... In any case, I'm excited for the trip.
I'm also going to miss my family dearly. We just barely came back together after K was gone for two weeks to Idaho with the boys. I'm not looking forward to five more days apart...
Here's hoping we flip the boat! Can't wait to ride rodeo on a class 3-4 rapid! :) I'll be sure to post photos when I get them...
