Our Weekend

We had a great weekend... I played around a bit with light painting on Friday night...

Funny how, every night we say we're going to get to bed early, but we always happen to look at the clock when it says this...

Then, on Saturday, we did this...

...and this goalie had every right to be proud this game, having stopped all but one goal...

Then, we were inspired by this prophet...

And many other general authorities of the LDS church as we watched the semi-annual General Conference of the church, broadcast from the LDS Conference Center in Salt Lake City. I so look forward to these conferences during the year. Each time, they inspire me and give me a spiritual boost for the next six months. Already, I can't wait for the Spring 2010 conference! Also, it's so great to see D watching more on his own accord -- I'm really proud of him and our other two awesome boys and the progress they're making in their lives on all fronts.

Finally, I got a chance to snap a couple of fall leaf photos. The rain made it pretty dreary, but it gave me a chance to practice getting some crisp shots of the rain drops on the colorful leaves. Not as good as I can see it in my mind's eye (I still had to do some post processing to sharpen them up a bit), but I'm getting better, I think...
