Sunrise on Samammish

I had to stop on my way into work this morning at Idylwood Park to snap a few photos of a spectacular sunrise with mist coming off the water. So beautiful... You can see these photos on my photo blog in hi-res.

wow, oh my gosh those are beautiful! Did you get a new lens? I am SO struggling with my 18-55..I want to throw it off a bridge..but after seeing these, I may just pick up my camera again. SO cool!!

Thanks, Kristen! That always means a lot coming from you. And yes - I think these were all with my EF-S 18-55 IS (F3.5) kit lens. I used my EF 70-300 (F4.5) lens for some of the other ones, but it's really tough to get a crystal clear shot with that lens. It's hard enough with the EF-S lens, as you can see. I was just counting my blessings that I drove by the park when I did this morning. It was too good to pass by... ;)
