Busy Weekend
We had a busy weekend... This was my mom's weekend with the boys (she takes the boys one Friday night/Saturday each month to give me and K some time alone), and we took the opportunity to have some fun and get some things done as well. Friday night, we went to a friend's wedding reception. :) It was fun, and we got to check out the latest and greatest neighborhood that Maple Valley has to offer -- Cherry Creek (it'll be its own ward soon with how many LDS families are moving in there). So that was a nice time... Then, on Saturday, I cut my hair in the morning, we went to Remlinger Farm in Carnation and picked about 20 lbs. of strawberries (which K made into probably the best jam I've ever had in the afternoon!). We ate lunch there (yum!) and then came home. While K made jam, I went with my neighbor to pick up a load of bark for the easement in front of our house. I still haven't taken any pictures of the yard, but I will soon, as it's looking pretty darn good, I must say. :) We picked the boys up from my mom's place and borrowed my mom's copy of National Treasure 2. The boys love the National Treasure movies, so it was fun to watch that together...

Just curious. What was your take on NT2? We opted not to buy it. Just curious.
The boys loved it. I didn't think it was very believable (like the last one), but it was fun nonetheless.
The ride was fun. We just couldn't swallow the purchase due to the unquestionably immoral living situation of the two main characters. Hard to look past that considering it's a major plot factor in the movie.
Real bummer considering we have thoroughly enjoyed the franchise.
Yeah - we haven't bought either of them. Good enough movies; just can't imagine watching them over and over again...
